We’re creating a completely new category at Nested, fundamentally changing how homes are bought and sold. The Marketing team is pivotal to the company's continued success, and we are looking for a Marketing Manager who is up to the challenge of creating something special.

Who we are

No one has ever said anything good about the process of selling a home. Unclear valuations, broken chains and untrustworthy estate agents are just some of the pieces that add up to make selling your home one of the most stressful things you do in your life.

At Nested, our vision is to reinvent this broken system from the ground up and build one of the defining tech companies of our generation. We replace stress with certainty, setting aside an advance which allows sellers to move forward chain free while we sell their old home for the best price. Reinventing estate agency is an ambitious goal and it needs an equally ambitious team. We’re looking for exceptional people who are excited by this prospect to join the team.

The role

We’re a small marketing team looking to scale the number of customers we have 8x this year, so we’re looking for someone who will try their hand at everything from creating content to testing direct mail, and execute to an excellent standard in whatever you do.

The areas we think you’ll spend the most time:

Understanding our customers and the decision journey they take when selling their home
Create, test and iterate on content to reach our customers at the right stage of their decision journey; including guides, videos and useful tools
Work closely with our Performance Marketing team to test the content in new and existing channels (including Facebook, native, paid search, YouTube)
Lead on the creation of our adverts on Facebook, working with our Performance Marketing team to come up with new ways to explain Nested and drive performance
Create and optimise website journeys and landing pages to meet the team objectives
Manage social media channels day-to-day, helping answer customer questions or circulating feedback on our proposition

In future you might also get involved with:
Implement an email solution, build an email list and create the communications to target home sellers
Increase adoption of our referral scheme
Run direct mail campaigns
Get involved in helping us gain press exposure
Identify new opportunities for how we can raise awareness of Nested and acquire more customers

We think you’ll probably:
Enjoy understanding your customer in depth and producing content for them
Have an excellent balance between being creative and analytical
Be a strong writer, able to craft compelling customer communications and turn your hand to content creation
Be organised and structured in what you do
Have a fine eye for what genuinely useful content looks like
Value metrics and embrace a test and learn approach to all of your work
Be hands-on, proactive and want to get things done quickly, but to an excellent standard
Be a creative thinker who brings new ideas from channels to ad concepts

Things which would be useful but not essential:
Experience with creating and testing content
Experience with content management systems
Experience in an early stage start-up
