At TRIK, we believe that drones are the future of structural inspection. We want to enable everyone to be able to utilise drones in the easiest way possible.

TRIK is a drone software start-up that has been established for 3 years and we are now entering a growth stage. We turn drone photos into digital 3D models and enable customers to make comments in 3D. You can use the 3D models as a file directory to store data, compare changes or add measurements. We’ve won several awards for our innovative business solutions and are funded by top-tier investors like the UK government and the Founder of Zoopla. We’re ambitious to do more and to add to our product pipeline as well as the solutions we offer our clients.

Take a look at our website and what we do

We’re looking for a mid-level full stack developer who has >3 years experience. Someone with good problem-solving skills who loves to learn about new technology. You should be able to prototype quickly, adapt swiftly to code challenges, be able to work as part of a team, speak “geek”, be pragmatic in your approach and have experience in working with most of the following:
* Node.js
* Git
* Docker
* REST API’s (development and integration)
* Databases: NoSQL & SQL experience, and/or MongoDB

It would be great if you are already confident in or willing to learn:
* Cloud Deployment (Azure/AWS/Google)
* ReactJS
* Responsive HTML/CSS
* Command Line Interfaces / Linux

A huge bonus if you have experience working with 3D web APIs (e.g. WebGL, three.js), mapping/GIS APIs (e.g. Cesium), drones (either as a drone operator or having worked for a drone software company), C++, parallel computing, computer vision, or app development (e.g. React Native).

You will be working with our product owner, designer, full stack developer, and drone/computer vision teams. Most of your work will be backend development, building and maintaining our backend Node REST API, but may also involve front end challenge like developing new features with a front end developer.

Though we are a highly R&D company, our core value is to create a user-focused product that everyone can use. We believe everyone in the team have the right to shape the direction of the company. You will be an integral part of our small team and you will make a real difference from day one.

We believe in bringing out the best in all of our employee and give them a space to grow. Either you are a specialist who wants to work on one specific thing, a generalist who love to prototype with all the latest technology, a software developer who wants to step up to become a manager, or a UX/UI designer who want to learn how to code, we have a structure to support any of your career paths.

We prefer a full time employee working on site, but we may make an exception for an outstanding applicant.
We may consider a part-time candidate or a full-time candidate who want to have a mixture of working onsite & working from home on a case by case basis. Write us a cover letter explaining why we should make an exception for you. :)

# All remote applicants and applicants from recruiter will be rejected.
# You need to have the right to work in the UK. If you are not from UK or EU, please specify your visa status in your cover letter or else your application will be rejected.
