Bookabees is a fast-growing children’s book subscription start-up with a clear purpose at its heart, inspiring children to read more for pleasure.

The alarming truth is that the amount of children who are reading for pleasure is falling. The problem starts as early as 3-4 years old, with parents reading less to their little ones at bedtime. As children grow from being read to to reading to oneself, the far-reaching consequences become evident, affecting their vocabulary and their academic results.

Join us and inspire a world of storytellers starting with children aged 0-11.

The Guardian called us “a clever book club” and The Daily Mail said we can “get any child excited about reading”. Most importantly, our members love us!

We have successfully raised another round of investment, enabling us to fulfil our ambitious growth plans.
