We are looking for a User Acquisition Lead to help us grow even bigger and teach millions more people a new language. You will build and manage the team capable of dramatically growing the rate of new user acquisition at Memrise across a multitude of channels, both paid and organic. This will require hardcore execution as well as high level strategy and opportunism.

You will be responsible for:

Taking control of UA on a product that has had explosive organic growth and is now starting to grow paid UA
Maximising installs
Ensuring we hit our ROI targets and our spend targets on paid acquisition
Maximising organic installs and signups (web) through SEO and ASO
Identifying new platforms for direct response advertising
Designing and growing the UA team (inhouse and outta house)
Reporting weekly on all UA execution vs targets

REQUIREMENTS
Ideally you will have some or all of the following:

Strong analytical skills, ability to compile, analyse and make decisions off large datasets
Strong Excel skills
Proven expertise in media/advertising across digital channels (search, social, display, retargeting, content, affiliate, ATL etc.)
Proven track record in ad management interfaces and bidding tools (Google, Bing, Facebook/Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Programmatic Ad Tech platforms)
Experience in performance marketing optimizations, experiments and execution
Experience with integration projects for data pipelines and platforms to set up accurate reporting and tracking flows
Experience in targeting international markets and non-English speaking audiences
Experience in working with apps and subscription models
Highly self-motivated, able to work with both extremely creative and methodological people
Experience in collaborating across marketing, product, and technical functions
Experience in managing people
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
