We are looking for a Big Data Engineer to create and manage solutions that turn data into
knowledge. You will help us build leading-edge analytics solutions to solve big-data business
cases for energy monitoring.

Responsibilities

● Design, develop and implement proof of concept and production-ready Big Data
architectures to be consumed by other applications/layers.
● Lead technical discussions, guiding the team in the best practices and proposing
solutions.
● Debugging and troubleshooting.
● Research and development in a variety of problem domains.
● Prepare documentation and ensure proper security and compliance with our
standards.

Requirements

● More than 1 year of experience designing, implementing and maintaining Big Data
architectures.
● Experience with Cassandra, Spark, HBase and Hadoop tools.
● Experience building distributed and scalable systems with various AWS and Big Data
technologies.
● Experience with RabbitMQ or Kafka.
● Comfortable working in a Linux environment.
● Experience with infrastructure automation tools.

Preferred Experience

● Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering or related,
or 5 years of equivalent work experience
● Experience with distributed scheduled jobs and data stream-processing.
● Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
● Experience with Ansible and Terraform.
● Experience with DynamoDB and S3.
● Experience with Python or Java programming languages and microservices
architecture.
