h2. Overview

Over 1 million young people have learned to code using Code Kingdoms so far. We’re looking for an exemplary Game Producer who is passionate about education and has a wide breadth of programming and game design experience, preferably for children aged 8+.
With Code Kingdoms, children learn to make their own Roblox games by watching video courses and coding using Roblox Studio. The Game Producer will work as part of the Content team to design and develop new programming, game design and digital skill courses which teach millions of children the basics of making their own Roblox games.

h2. Role responsibilities

* Programming - All of our courses cover how to make Roblox games using Lua in Roblox Studio. You should have strong programming skills with the ability to break down the code for each game into modular steps, suitable for our target audience of children aged 8+.
* Game design - You should be confident developing the game systems, controls, interfaces, and the interactive elements of top quality games that appeal to a young audience. You will be expected to implement, balance and bug fix game-play features to a high standard.
* End-to-end game creation - The majority of the role consists of programming and design, but you will oversee games from concept to final implementation ensuring the team meets its ambitious release schedule. This will include prototyping, testing and iterating designs, building course maps for Roblox and implementing feedback from player analytics.

h2. Requirements

* Programming experience - You are skilled at using scripting languages in games - experience with Roblox or games for children is a significant plus. You are also passionate about games and the gaming industry, and have an interest in education.
* Excellent organisational skills - You’re great at thinking up new ideas, solving complex technical problems and balancing a range of projects and deadlines at once.
* Communication - You’re confident and mature enough to communicate a kid-safe brand, but also have the innovation needed to understand and reach our audience. You enjoy working collaboratively, both within a close-knit team and across departments.
* Visual design - You can demonstrate an eye for visual design and what makes a game look and feel satisfying to a player. You are capable of creating high quality virtual worlds that excite players. Experience creating 3D art or designing Roblox maps is a significant plus.
* Self-starter - You’re adept at taking initiative and are driven by achieving results. You are consistently praised for your dedication and attention to detail.

h2. More about Code Kingdoms

Code Kingdoms is an online platform which teaches children how to code.

Used in 50+ countries, we have had over 1 million young people using our coding technology.

The company has raised over $3 million in venture capital. We are a key educational partner of Roblox and have previously partnered with the BBC and Minecraft.

We've designed the most effective coding environment, with integrated content, to enhance children's digital skills. Primarily, we want to ensure young people are building games using real software applications and having fun whilst doing it! Our technology guides children from the very first steps of programming in real languages, such as Lua, Java and JavaScript, whilst also developing their design and production capabilities and digital skills.

In partnership with the BBC, we extended our reach to every secondary school in the UK in early 2016. Our most popular consumer products offer children the chance to program Roblox and Minecraft, allowing players to create their own games in a little as 5 minutes.

Our Education Outreach team serves a global network of technology camps and schools bringing our platform to traditional educational settings. In conjunction with the most prestigious educators, we offer inspirational classroom experiences which translate to students continuing to learn with us at home.
