Description:
You will act as the firm's digital specialist, shaping and delivering the strategy to increase brand awareness and drive traffic, working across all online channels, including the website, email and social media. Leading day to day management of the website, creating, editing and distributing content across all channels. Analysing and evaluating the performance of the website and manage the relationships with external agencies.

You will have demonstrable experience in a digital marketing role, ideally with a background in tech and start up / scale up environments / marketplaces / SaaS models.

Territory: UK / International

Responsibilities: Responsibility will be to develop and execute local and in future global marketing plans to include:

• Paid and organic marketing
• A/B testing on all major platforms to increase customer acquisition
• Content marketing
• Attendance and/or sponsorship at appropriate events
• Ongoing development and management of the Globechain website for marketing purposes
• Outbound digital campaigns, via email and/or social media
• Coordination of the development of marketing and sales material to support the sales process and to ensure sales material is aligned with the marketing strategy
• Lead generation to support the sales team in achieving their targets
• Facilitation of external resources required to execute the marketing plan, such as web developers and graphic designers
• Putting appropriate measures in place to assess the results of marketing activities
• Writing occasional content for marketing material, the Globechain website, its clients and blog

The Marketing manager will also work with regional teams to help them execute the global marketing plan in each of their regions. They will also appoint relevant agencies as necessary.

Skills and Experience:
• Development and delivery of B2B marketing plans as well as in hands-on execution of marketing initiatives
• Content marketing, including developing and writing content
• Experience of how to market technology to different target segments – charities, enterprise and SME
• Previous experience of working in a startup environment
• Commercial and analytical, comfortable setting metrics and tracking marketing performance
• Experience in recruiting and growing a small marketing team
