*JOB TITLE Junior Marketing Data Analyst*
*REPORTING TO Customer Acquisition Manager*

We are seeking a Junior Marketing Data Analyst to join our merry band of Loafers selling stonkingly nice furniture online, by brochure and in our ever-expanding network of laid-back showrooms. You will be responsible for supporting the marketing team with reporting and analysis to help plan, optimise and sustainably grow kick-ass mar-keting campaigns and profitably grow sales. You will also process the mailing data, providing clean lists for Loaf’s all-important direct mail campaigns. We've got plans to go big, so we're looking for a super smart A-player with bags of passion who'll play a pivotal role in taking us to the next level through their technical wizardly and analytical in-sights!


*Build and maintain marketing reports*
• Maintain, update and create marketing analytics and reporting systems, such as dashboards in Tableau and Excel reports
• Occasionally support the wider business by creating ad hoc reports and working with various other de-partments to make the most of our data warehouse
• Manage the reporting environment using Tableau, MySQL, Amazon Web Services and the Loaf data ware-house to ensure that reports can be run when required

*Manage customer data and mailing process*
• Manage, maintain and improve the existing brochure mailing process, written in R and MySQL
• Ensure timely generation of counts and clean name and address lists, in line with customer preferences, for brochure mailing campaigns, by liaising with third parties and using your technical skills to address any issues with the mailing process
• Update the mailing code as required, to take into account any targeting changes, split tests etc.
• Support in the handling of marketing suppression, subject access and data deletion requests

*Provide in-depth analysis*
• Provide in-depth marketing analysis across multiple channels, with a focus on direct mail, as and when re-quired, including analysis on:
o Customer ordering patterns and frequencies
o Performance of retail locations and predicting where Loaf should open new showrooms
o Online customer behaviours and journeys
o Attribution of sales and performance of individual marketing channels and campaigns
• Proactively make clear recommendations to help maximise marketing performance

• At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role
• Degree in a mathematically orientated discipline
• Comfortable using SQL to query large datasets (MySQL, T-SQL)
• Exposure to a high-level programming language (Python, R, Java, Ruby, C++ etc.)
• Superior Excel wizardry
• Strong data wrangling and analytical skills
• A natural inquisitiveness and ability to think creatively, with a passion for data
• A high attention to detail and commitment to deliver outstanding work to agreed deadlines
• Excellent communication skills with an ability to present technical solutions and analysis to a broad audi-ence
• A super smart A-player in-the-making who has bags of passion
• A real can-do attitude with a willingness to just get on with the job and make great things happen

• Good working proficiency in R
• Some experience using, creating and managing dashboards in Tableau
• Familiar with Microsoft Dynamics NAV
• Working knowledge of Google Analytics and Amazon Web Services
• Experience of statistical analysis and modelling
