Exceptional Individuals is a small social enterprise that works with Neurodiverse individuals and helps them get through barriers and into work. As a support agency we work with a wide range of individuals and are planning a number of launch events over the coming months.
We are looking for a temporary Events and Marketing Executive that will be able to lead on a conference which is due to run on October 4th, an Academy launch and a creative celebration which will be held in November/December. We are looking for someone who is able to dedicate three days minimum a week. We are flexible on hours however your core hours will be on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. This is an office-based position located between Liverpool Street and Moorgate.
Skills
• Experience within an events position is preferred.
• Impeccable organisational skills are a must. A self-starter who is not afraid to branch out on their own. You will be able to use your own initiative and problem-solving skills.
• A knowledge of Neurodiversity is preferred but not essential.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Experience of working to strict delegate targets.
Duties
• Organising all aspects of the event from programme to execution on the day.
• Liasing with Graphics department to create adverts that display the core message of each event whilst maintaining brand standards.
• Advertising all events on the appropriate social media channels and event-bright.
• Database preparation and maintenance to ensure accurate invitee lists, acting within GDPR.
• Managing all delegate bookings - updating relevant documents with accurate information of the booking and being main point of contact for customer queries.
• Managing all AV and room bookings in an appropriate and professional way.
• May be required to assist the Senior Management Team with Programme content and speaker selection.
• Produce all the pre-event administration including confirmations and collateral.
• Take a leading role at the event to ensure that delegates and stakeholders have an exceptional event experience.
• Organise post event administration.
• Other related administrative tasks - budget management, travel bookings, maintain stationery/collateral supplies.
Requirements
• 5 x A-C GCSE Grades or equivalent events certification.
