An Excellent opportunity for an Experienced Quality Assurance Manager to join a well-established company based in Newport! The Company: Established in 1986, and since its inception, has expanded and developed its well-equipped 38000 sq. ft. facility in Pontypool, South Wales. The Role: An experienced quality assurance manager who will work closely with internal manufacturing teams to ensure the effective implementation of the quality management system, ensuring compliance with all quality related requirements. Will compile and manage records to demonstrate the conformity of the manufactured product Responsibilities: Management of an effective quality management system, ensuring implementation at all levels. Communicating with management and manufacturing personnel ensuring full agreement and understanding of specific contract quality requirements. Providing guidance and Assistance on quality related matters. Managing incidents and non-conformances relating to manufacturing activities. Monitoring and approving changes to be implemented during the manufacturing processes. Ensuring audits are undertaken to schedule and any adverse issues raised either internally or externally are closed out in a timely manner. Undertake quality audits for identified suppliers. Develop quality targets and measures for company operations and monitor the performance Manage a small team of quality inspection personnel. Reviewing non-conformance reports and quality documentation in general, identifying any apparent trends, providing documented reports and reporting directly to the MD on status and trends. Experience: ISO 9001 standard, Microsoft Office, drawing interpretation (2D, 3D), applicable EN & BS standards.
