IT Project Manager Manchester (city centre) £50,000 to £55,000 per year The Opportunity: Our client is looking to recruit an experienced IT Project Manager for Software Services to undertake all of their project co-ordination, planning, governance and reporting in line with the company's project management framework. Skills and Experience: Proven experience in Project Management (5 years as a Certified Practitioner) PMP / PRINCE2 Practitioner Certification, with strong MS Project experience In-depth knowledge and practical application of industry recognised delivery and control structured methodologies Experience of SDLC and in working with onshore and offshore teams in differing time zones A willingness to travel (global) and spend short periods away from home when required Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills: communication, stakeholder management & influencing Degree qualified (preferably in a science, technical or business field) or related industry qualifications Role and Responsibilities: Tasked with ensuring all project scoped deliverables are executed within budget and timescale, the projected benefits are identified, accurate and realised within the agreed timescales Act as the stakeholder relationship manager - identifying roles and the responsibilities between project, business and 3rd party resources and agreeing on the required training and transition activities with the associated stakeholders Work in conjunction with pre-sales, development, deployment and support services to ensure effective cradle-to- grave project delivery Manage the end to end lifecycle of a project including production and update of required artefacts, e.g. project plans, RAID logs, budget tracking and project governance Manage reporting to governance forums, key stakeholders and line management ensuring early sight of exceptions with options and mitigations where appropriate Applications: To learn and understand more about this newly created opportunity and the people you will be working with and how you can shape your career at the next level working as an IT Pro; please call and speak with Emma Lloyd here in our Manchester offices on 0161 973 2533 or please email me a copy of your very latest CV or online profile for an immediate call back.
