Release Manager (Product Release End-to-End) 19618 Croydon : London 6-12 Month Rolling Contract 425-500/day (Neg) Release Manager needed who will own the Release Management life-cycle and strategy which includes scheduling, coordinating and governance of releases, controlling client builds through different development stages and environments; including testing and deploying software releases across distributed teams in complex and often green field development cycles. You will facilitate and support the continuous delivery process from development to release in a quick, reliable and repeatable method Responsibilities, duties: Work with the Work stream Lead and Product Owner, forward plan the release cycles for the Platform Negotiate, plan and manage all release activities Coordinate release content with key internal and external stakeholders Measure and monitor progress to ensure platform releases are delivered on time and that they meet or exceed expectations Manage risks and resolve issues that affect release scope, schedule and quality Communicate all key delivery plans, commitments, and changes including requirements, QA plans, schedule, and scope changes Manage relationships and coordinate work between different teams at different locations Conduct Release Readiness reviews and Business Go/No-Go reviews Lead and co-ordinate the Go-Live activities including the execution of the deployment Plans and checklists Communicate release status meetings with the Business as required Work with the Work stream Lead maintains the release schedule and ensure alignment across key stakeholders Continually work towards making improvements in the release process Required skills and experience: Business focused Agile Project Manager, with significant experience delivering technical solutions to complex user bases Significant experience of managing scope and requirements for brand new product discoveries. Significant experience of scoping and leading Business Analysis and Business Change for brand new Product discoveries, and the associated development and delivery throughout the SDLC for large scale projects The ability and experience to own a Product Release End-to-End, starting from scratch, and having the skills to enhance and develop existing processes. Have experience of managing a technical team no smaller than 10 people. Ability to communicate effectively with different audiences on a broad range of topics: technical, business and creative Self-starter with superior time management, project management and organizational skills Multiple platform experience Strong problem solving and decision-making ability Ability to motivate team, provide clear direction, and give insight on industry trends Team building and leadership skills, capable of inspiring and motivating to maximize team performance Strong accountability in managing the delivery process within technology program Next Steps...
