Our organisation has a proud history of supporting people with complex mental health needs and learning disabilities. Lambeth, Southwark & Lewisham Fulfilling Lives Programme is Big Lottery funded and part of the National Fulfilling Lives Programme. The project is delivered in partnership with Certitude and Thamesreach with strategic partners from the three boroughs to test new ways of supporting people with multiple and complex needs to understand how systems can change to enable people to live more fulfilling lives and achieve better outcomes. The Programme has three core aims: It will change lives. Individuals experiencing multiple needs will benefit through better established partnerships and networks which best support individuals It will change systems. Evidence will be produced showing which elements of the programme are effective. Local and national decision-makers will be encouraged to review and adopt these elements where appropriate. It will involve beneficiaries. Both positive changes to individuals and system improvement will be underpinned by the collaborative, genuine and honest involvement of individuals with lived experience. The team has three core parts - a team who delivers direct support through an outreach model to people who have multiple and complex needs (combination of mental health needs, substance use, at risk or and history of homelessness and/or offending), a team who identifies and extracts the learning with an external partner who will support us to evaluate, underpinned by team that places the lived experience at the centre of the programme. Together we will help shape and influence identified system change. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced psychologist to take up a leadership position in the Lambeth, Southwark and Lewisham Fulfilling Lives Programme within Certitude. You will join a team looking to improve systems to better support this client group. You will use your expertise to develop the psychological approach of the team, fostering a trauma informed ethos. You will equip the team to work in a psychologically informed way, offer assessment and formulation for clients with advice to team members. You will bring an expertise in understanding the system around the person and help the team to hold a safe space for the people we support as well use the learning from the programme to help support and influence system change. The post requires highly developed knowledge and skills of evidence based psychological interventions in the context of complex presentations. The post holder will have advanced level training in working with people who have multiple and complex needs namely a combination of homeless (or at risk if homelessness), mental health needs, substance use, history or offending and proven ability of working within a trauma informed approach and applying that approach across non-clinical settings.
