Your New Deputy Care Home Manager Job
As the Deputy Care Home Manager, you will assist in managing
the delivery of quality and comprehensive dementia and nursing care
service within Fairmile Grange. Ensuring the effective running and
allocation of work to a team of Registered Nurses and Health Care
Assistants, including managing the staff rota, performance, conduct
and attendance.
Summary of duties:

To manage all aspects of the home in the absence of the Home Manager.
To maintain excellent clinical performance and health & safety standards.
To support the maintenance of a positive reputation for the Home
in the local community.
To support the attainment of budgeted financial performance;
maximising fee levels and exercising sound cost management across
the Home.
To help build and maintain a well-motivated and engaged workforce.
To perform direct nursing duties on a basis agreed with the Home
Manager in accordance with contractual arrangements.

Other Job Requirements:

Valid RGN or RMN NMC Registration.
Experience within a health and social care setting with older people.
You may also have experience in the following: Deputy Care Home
Manager, Deputy Care Manager, Deputy Manager, Clinical Lead,
Clinical Manager, Head of Care, Care Home Manager or Care Manager.
A clear understanding of CQC standards/ legislation.
Previous experience in leading a team.
Great written and verbal skills for communication and understanding.
Good IT skills and confidence in computer-based work.
