As Vocational Trainer, you will work within the College’s Apprenticeship Strategy and deliver growth and high success levels of customer satisfaction recognised by Ofsted through its grading of Apprenticeship provision as ‘Good’ with an expectation to be ‘Outstanding’. Whilst supporting a caseload of students, you will plan and deliver, in partnership with the employer, tailored programmes to ensure the Apprentice meets the outcomes for the qualifications in a timely way. Maintaining excellent relationships with employers, you will use your experience and knowledge to offer advice, guidance and direction with funding and further recruitment of apprentices and attend review meetings each month with the Deputy Manager of Apprenticeships to review student progress against set target. They are looking for an individual who is qualified to Level 3 as a minimum in a relevant specialist subject area and who holds or is willing to work towards a valid Level 3 teaching qualification, assessing qualification and quality assurance qualification. Capable of supporting students to complete learning and assessment, you will be able to think creatively and inspire others and have significant knowledge of the electrical industry. Those who have knowledge of Apprenticeship funding and inspection regimes are highly desirable, as are those who have experience of supporting staff in training.
