Your new job as a Delegated Authority & Compliance Technician will be working for an international growing Lloyd's Broker, who operate on a Global basis. Your new dual role handling US Delegated Authorities and Compliance Audits will be working within a tight knit team of three in the DA & Compliance team. Your new Lloyd's Broker has clients based in 80 countries worldwide. Due to growth and expansion a permanent job within the Delegated Authority & compliance team a new Technician position has arisen.
Your new role
Your new job working as a Delegated Authority & Compliance Technician means you will be responsible for liaising with the auditor and Coverholder to confirm audit dates and providing slips, bordereaux, and any other required information, to the auditor. You will be responsible for reviewing audit reports and recommendations; liaising with the syndicate relative to any inaccuracies, as well as, ensuring recommendations are complied with in an appropriate time frame. Furthermore, you will also be processing information such as, Coverholders annual compliance, updating Coverholders Professional Indemnity, Updating key staff involved in Binding Authority business, onto Atlas. You will be dealing with Client and Market Terms of Business Application's and be heavily involved with the TOBA process. You will be expected to execute timely and accurate processing of data and any other applicable documentation into Atlas, BARs and other appropriate systems. You will be responsible for ensuring escalation triggers are managed, reporting any service issue to your line manager.
What you'll need to succeed
Your previous experience working as a Delegated Authority & Compliance Technician within a Lloyd's Broker or Syndicate will contribute to your success in securing this role. You will ideally have had some experience or exposure to USA or Canadian Binders be able to demonstrate competent knowledge and application of either compliance, Broking or Underwriting. You will be confident in technical ability and be competent in your technical ability to manage/ process Binding Authorities from Audit and understand the compliance process of auditing TOBA's. You will be computer literate and be proficient in the use of computerised systems such as; Atlas, Bars, IMR and Microsoft Office applications. You will demonstrate accurate and good attention to detail and be well organised and able to prioritise and multi-task. You will work confidently whilst independent and also be a team player and willing to work flexibly and proactively engage with other areas of the business.
