Senior Quantitative Analyst
The Business We're hiring a Senior Quantitative Analyst This is an opportunity to Lead the development of an in-house advanced analytics platform with Cloud Services and state of the art computing technology You'll be developing or enhancing existing models, and building a hyperscale computing infrastructure It's a chance to play an influential role in developing analytics What you'll do This role will task you with leading greenfield projects on advanced technologies with R&D components, and offers the ability to build from scratch. You'll drive the technical direction, guiding the solution and delivering projects; from requirements gathering and analysis all the way to implementation, deployment and subsequent support. Your other responsibilities will include: Implementing, maintaining and delivering prescribed quantitative models and analytical tools in collaboration with the IT development team Undertaking quantitative and comprehensive analysis throughout the firm wide stress testing results and cycle Interfacing with a range of stakeholders, including front office and infrastructure development The skills you'll need This is an intellectually demanding and strongly technical role, and we're looking for someone with high academic achievements in the sciences - preferably at national level - and with a PhD in a quantitative discipline. You'll have strong professional experience of object orientated programming, with some familiarity with C++ and Python. You'll also have working experience with HPC and computer-intensive calculation. You'll also bring: Experience in a buy side markets business Excellent understanding of algorithm complexity theory, and a good understanding of mathematical finance and stochastic calculus Working knowledge of fixed income products and other credit products Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain analytical issues and synthesise complex analyses How we'll reward you In return, we offer a competitive salary and you'll also join our retirement savings plan.
