Our client is a highly reputable provider of mental healthcare varying from education to hospitals, care homes and secure facilities. They provide a specialist therapy that is tailored to the individual, or multidisciplinary treatment programmes for those with complex educational needs or requiring acute, long-term and respite mental healthcare.

This fantastic hospital based opportunity provides expert care and treatment for both male and female adults with a primary diagnosis of learning disabilities. There are six wards with patients that are detained under the mental health act who may have challenging behaviours, Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and dual diagnosis including mental health and personality disorders.

We are looking for a HCPC Registered individual to join a multi-disciplinary clinical team to develop and provide expert services.

The successful candidate will provide direct and indirect clinical psychology services, as part of a specialist psychological assessment and treatment routine, for either male or female autism services. You will be providing a structured and comprehensive DBT treatment programme as well as clinical supervision for assistant psychologists. This includes undertaking training needs analysis and developing training packages for staff of other disciplines.

The ideal candidate will have the following:
- HCPC Registration
- DBT experience (essential)
- Autism diagnostic experience (preferred)
- Experience of working in secure settings is highly desirable but not essential
