Delegated Authorities Technician
As a member of the Delegated Authorities and Compliance Team, to process Regulatory, Compliance and Audit requirements in accordance with agreed procedures and protocols.

·Liaising with the auditor and Coverholder to confirm audit dates
·Providing slips/bordereaux, and any other required information, to the auditor
·Reviewing audit report and recommendations; liaising with the syndicate relative to any inaccuracies
·Forwarding recommendations to the Coverholder with appropriate comments and if necessary guidance
·Ensuring recommendations are complied with in an appropriate time frame.

·Processing information on Atlas, including but not limited to:
·Coverholders annual compliance
·Updating Coverholders professional indemnity
·Updating financials for all Coverholders
·Updating licenses for all Coverholders
·Updating key staff involved in Binding Authority business (including remote workers) for all Coverholders
·Researching websites to obtain Coverholder licences
·Annual compliance return processed for all Coverholders/PINS at various times when falling due with Lloyd's
·Compliance is checked when a Binding Authority renewal is coming up (this involves ensuring the annual compliance is not due, E&O, Financials, Licenses, etc. are all current).
·Compliance is checked for a new Binding Authority, as above, and an additional check to ensure the Coverholder is approved for the proposed class of business(es)
·Coverholder applications - assisting the applicant with their application in terms of reviewing it in preparation for it being reviewed by the sponsoring MGA and Lloyd's
·Branch applications - as above for additional office locations
·Ownership changes
·Class of business applications
·Territorial extensions
·OMC Applications
·Client and Market TOBAs
·New Clients and Markets due diligence

System Management
·Timely and accurate processing of data and any other applicable documentation into Atlas, BARs and other appropriate systems.
·Ensure all pertinent correspondence saved within 24 hours of receipt.
·Maintain a working record at all times.
·Ensure escalation triggers are managed, reporting any service issue to the line manager.

Knowledge and Experience:
·At least two years' previous experience in either compliance, broking or underwriting in the London Market to demonstrate competent knowledge and application of the subject matter
·Some USA or Canadian Binder experience preferred
·Act in a professional manner at all times when attending market or client meetings.
·Able to work independently within agreed procedures and processes
·Competent using computerised systems and standard software (email, word, excel, bespoke insurance)
