This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading law firm in London as their Event & Marketing Assistant. The role will involve supporting the Event Executive in the running of events at both a firm wide and practice area level including seminars, conferences and key client entertainment in line with the practice area development plans.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing & Business Development you will be responsible for producing event materials including invitations, seminar hand-outs, signage and name badges using the design package, InDesign, as well as sending out event invitations and other event communications and monitoring responses, regularly updating the CRM system, InterAction, with acceptances, declines and dietary requirements. The Event & Marketing Assistant will offer support at each event including early morning breakfast seminars and evening seminars and drinks receptions. You will also ensure the firm intranet and website are up to date with relevant information of upcoming events and manage the event inbox, responding to client queries in the run up to an event. You will also help to update marketing materials both on and off-line and be responsible for compiling eCommunications using Vuture, helping partners to pull together targeted lists, monitoring reader statistics and alerting partners to any client feedback. You will also be tasked with maintaining mailing lists in InterAction, ensuring contact details are kept up to date and provide other ad hoc support to people in the team.

The successful candidate must have previous experience of event organising in a professional services organisation, first class communication skills and the ability to adhere to strict deadlines, to balance difference requests and be able to work well under pressure.
