Position Summary:

As an Intern in Information Technology, you will be assigned to strategic initiatives under senior leadership. You will earn hands-on experience by becoming part of our most important change initiatives. Apart from learning on the job, you will benefit from international exchange opportunities, our mentoring concept and a standardised training plan including functional and organizational topics as well as social skills.
In this role, you will be based either in Frankfurt, Paris or London.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Your responsibilities as an Intern in Information Technology include:
  • Depending on your educational and professional background, you will assume one of the following roles: IT Project Manager, IT Business Analyst, IT Architect, Data Scientist, IT Business Manager, IT Transformation Manager, IT Vendor Manager or IT Developer
  • Take over multiple responsibilities in one project according to your role
  • Actively build a professional network within the company
  • Act as go-to person for all requests related to your area of responsibility in the project
  • Proactively extend knowledge and skills by learning from peers, your manager and via AllianzGI learning offerings

Qualification and Skills:

Required :
  • Bachelor’s / Master’s degree or advanced bachelor studies in business, economics, finance, informatics, mathematics, psychology or equivalent
  • First working experience via internships, preferable in the financial industry or IT
  • First experience of working in projects is highly appreciated
  • Genuine interest in Information Technology and the Asset Management
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Open, flexible and curious mindset that embraces change
  • Excellent command of MS Office products
  • Fluent in English
  • Available to start within the next 12 months for 6 months full time
