An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated, enthusiastic individual to join the pharmacy team at Barts Health to lead on the procurement and distribution across the Trust.

The post holder will manage a team of pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and assistants to provide high quality services ensuring that local, national, regulatory, clinical, safety and financial targets are met.

This challenging role requires the post holder to demonstrate excellent leadership and organisational skills, and who can communicate effectively across all levels of the healthcare system. The ability to prioritise and independently manage your own workload is also a requirement of the role.

As a senior member of the pharmacy team the post holder will need to have experience in the development of pharmacy services including service improvement and performance management. The post holder will be responsible for the close monitoring of Key Performance Indicators and ensure that any implemented organisational change has a positive impact on dispensary and ward based activity.
