We have an exciting opportunity for Events Crew to join our Events Operations Team, who provide support to over 400 events per year at Kew.

Working as part of the team the role is responsible for set up and decant of event spaces, in addition to providing support with movement of items around the site to support all areas of the business.

The event crew are also responsible for ensuring all event equipment is stored and maintained to a high standard, in addition to providing excellent customer service to both internal and external event clients.

Event crew may sometimes need to act as crew bosses to other staff, experience in this area is desirable.

We are looking for experienced event crew with excellent customer service, who can deliver results in a fast paced and deadline driven environment. An awareness of best practice in the events sector, including health and safety requirement and competent handling of Audio visual and tech equipment is desirable.

This is a ‘hands on’ role and involves a large amount of manual handling based tasks, so physical fitness is essential.

You will be required to work in a range of environments, and outdoor working in all weather is to be expected. The post holder is expected to cover weekend and evening shifts as required.

A clean UK driving licence is also essential.

The post holder may occasionally be required to carry out other ad-hoc duties including some basic administration – so knowledge of basic Microsoft Office Programmes would be advantageous.

Salary will be £19,862 per annum.
