Agile Test Manager
Introduction FPSG are looking for a permanent Agile Test Manager to work with the renowned consultancy. Role Responsibilities Extensive Agile experience ideally within SAFe (scaled agile framework) - this appears to be a key aspect Strong Test Management capability and management of an Agile transformation Reasonable Technical capability in terms of automation and NFT within Agile - not a coder but someone who understands these disciplines and is able to strategise in these areas, define approaches and plan and manage them within sprint Demonstrable excellence in reporting and metrics within an Agile environment Very strong communications and the right cultural fit for PBS (enthusiasm, dynamism, diplomacy and very strong people skills) Define the test strategy including quantified coverage targets and agree this with the project manager/client. Produce and execute the project/service test plan, based on a risk-based testing approach to cover budgeting, planning and organisation of all test activities. Proactively manage risks and issues, proposing and implementing mitigations. Resource and manage the CGI test team, and develop their skills and capability. Provide structured estimates for testing using best practice. Review consolidated test results actual against plan, and identify and implement remedial actions where required in agreement with Project management and other stakeholders. Identify and implement improvements to test processes Ensure test approaches are aligned to relevant quality standards. Identify and lead the implementation of significant improvements to the test activities Manage risk and recommend and implement appropriate action to address actual or potential slippage, over-spend or other threats to successful delivery. Own the client engagement with respect to all aspects of testing. Manage stakeholders effectively with an emphasis on maximising client satisfaction.
