Due to a period of significant growth a market leading organisation based in Manchester are looking for a Business Analyst to join their growing IT & Change department on a permanent basis. As an accomplished Business Analyst, you will take responsibility for requirements definition and change request management, and will subsequently develop business cases for IT applications development, and define solutions that are appropriate for the organisation. You will be able to construct detailed business requirements documents, carry out ‘As is’ and ‘To be’ analysis, and engineer new business processes. In order to be considered for this position of Business Analyst, you must be able to demonstrate experience and knowledge in the following: Prior experience acting in a Business Analysis capacity Strong knowledge of both Waterfall and Agile methodologies Experience of UML, Use Cases and User Stories Strong communication skills with the ability to facilitate groups of people at all levels in order to gather requirements A good understanding of financial controls and risks BCS qualification in Business Analysis and ISEB qualification in Business Requirements Engineering are preferable.
