Service Performance Specialist - DevOps, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, AWS, Drupal, PHP, .Net, Jenkins, Vagrant, Katalon, Selenium Triad is working with a multi-award winning Digital, IT and Management Consultancy practice based in Manchester, with offices in Australia. As part of their growing team, they are looking for a Service Performance Specialist. As the successful candidate, you will be the key point of contact for their clients and lead the day-to-day running of their services. With a strong DevOps focus, you will play a critical role ensuring their people, systems and processes continually deliver a world-class service. You will: Be the trusted point contact for their clients and be seen as the person who can "get things done". Pro-actively support the day-to-day running of innovative digital services across: Operations: Be the first port of call for their clients and take and responsible in resolving any issues that may arise Performance: Ensure services are optimised and exceeding client expectations Analytics: Pro-actively analyse user demand and service metrics to help their clients continually improve overall services Assurance: Ensure any changes are fully assured by employing automated testing and release pipelines Facilitate a truly collaborative, DevOps service model within a multi-technology environment (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, AWS, Drupal, PHP, .Net, Jenkins, Vagrant, Katalon, Selenium…) Work closely with Lead Service Performance Specialists in the implementation and delivery of Service Request and other work packages. Skills Required: A 2:1 degree or above in an IT/Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Computer Science, Geography or GIS subject. Outstanding analytical ability and attention to detail. Experience of, or potential to, work closely with senior client stakeholders Be willing to share knowledge and coach more junior team members Exposure to delivering projects using Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban etc.) Experience of working closely with software developers and IT operations staff in a DevOps environment Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with the ability to express complex concepts in simple terms A willingness to travel and work onsite as client needs dictate Other information If this role is of interest to you or you would like more information, please contact Laura Waddy or submit your application now.
