Now, we’re looking for a Finance Officer to join our team in London on a part time basis. The Role As a Finance Officer, you’ll support the smooth running of our Finance function, which supports 140 services across England, addresses issues and processes payments for both staff and external agencies. Reporting to the Senior Finance Officer, you will: - Take ownership of our expenditure recording functions - Prepare invoices, check payments and chase up unpaid invoices - Maintain the cash flow forecast - Prepare BACS schedules and cheques - Assist with ad-hoc projects About You To join us as a Finance Officer, you’ll need: - Previous finance and/or accounts experience - Experience of generating management information reports - A degree level qualification in accounting and/or finance OR be part qualified with a recognised accounting body - A meticulous eye for detail Other organisations may call this role Accounts Clerk, Finance Clerk, Accounts Administrator, Finance Administrator, Finance Support Officer, Accountancy Clerk, Finance Assistant or Accounts Assistant.
