Ballards LLP is a firm of Chartered Accountants which also supports clients with their financial recruitment. We are currently supporting an established organisation based just outside Malvern in the recruitment of an Accountant. The role is to assist the Finance team in the preparation and control of relevant financial records and information. Responsibilities will include: process sales and purchase ledger transactions provide income and expenditure analysis when required assist with the controls of petty cash, expenses clients , ATMs, BACS and journals assist with bank reconciliations credit control assist with the production of the annual budget assist with compiling information for the preparation of management accounts assist in year-end accounts preparation to maintain balance sheet control accounts including fixed asset register, bank accounts and investment portfolio Ideally you will be AAT or part qualified ACCA/CIMA or even be qualified by experience. You must have at least 3 years experience and be comfortable speaking directly to customers and non finance people within the business. This role can be either part or full time and they can accommodate flexible working arrangements.
