Furley Page Solicitors are seeking a full time permanent Trust Team Co-ordinator to be based within their Private Client, Trusts and Estate team based in their Canterbury city centre office. This role is suitable for either: Someone who has prior experience with trust administration work within either a banking or accountancy background; or Someone who has little or no experience but who is keen to develop experience and qualifications in this area, being keen to learn under supervision. This is an opportunity for career development, with the scope to gain experience and undertake further training within the role. This could lead to financial support towards obtaining appropriate qualifications in this field with the aim of progressing to a full Trust Administrator. Personal Attributes: The following are key to the success of role: Must have solid numeracy skills; Confidence in the ability to work with a wide range of people and deal with demanding situations; Ability to work independently, being conscientious in achieving a high standard of accuracy, and having meticulous attention to detail; Excellent communication skills both in person and on the telephone; Able to work well as part of a small team as well under own initiative; Highly reliable and well organised to ensure continuous deadlines are met; If little experience in this area, being prepared to learn quickly and undertake training in the form of courses and examinations. Key Tasks: Filing Typing/Dictation Maintaining team trust database Co-ordinating team tasks and events Liaising with clients via e-mail and telephone Online filing of Tax Returns Management of Tax and Trust Beneficiary payments Booking Client meetings Setting up new Trust files Management of historic paper Trust files
