About the role: Maypole Grove is a specialist nurse-led home for adults with complex needs located in Kings Heath, Birmingham.At Maypole Grove, we build our care and activity plans around individuals, supporting, nurturing and encouraging them to live happy, fulﬁlled lives. Making every day better is about achieving the best possible outcomes for those we care for, so we identify goals and outcomes together with individuals, families and professionals. A purpose built home for up to 30 service users, Maypole Grove is arranged over three units; Bearwood, Hollywood and Ladywood. Every bedroom is large, light and airy and has an accessible en-suite wet room. Bedrooms can be decorated to suit personal tastes and there are TV points and WiFi in all rooms. As the Registered Manager, you will be accountable for the day to day running and leadership of the home. It is your responsibility to ensure service users receive the highest quality of care, living by the Exemplar values of making every day better than the last. You will pro-actively coach your team and will be dedicated to driving CQC standards to ensure quality. You will also work closely with the Operations Manager in driving key business objectives. Key duties: • Ensure the home is a caring environment at all times • Oversee teams to ensure individual needs of service users are met • Promote dignity, independence and rights to privacy • Recruit, Lead and develop staff • Work towards legal and CQC requirements at all times and drive the home to “outstanding” • Have full budget responsibility • Engage with new customers and maintain positive relationships with existing referrers Requirements: You will be a registered nurse with a valid MNC pin and will have previous experience managing a successful care home. A previous CQC rating of ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’ would be also advantageous. The ideal manager will have previous experience managing multi-disciplined teams and will have a previous experience of managing and analysing P&L reports. About you: Our registered home managers lead by example providing great quality care to each individual service user. You will be a compassionate leader with a can do attitude, valuing the importance of always striving to provide our service users with individualistic and effective care. You will have a hands-on approach to leadership, supported by an experienced Operations and Quality team, enabling you to drive standards to support the future 'Outstanding' CQC rating that our service users deserves. You will also be financially minded being fully accountable for the homes P&L report, continuous reviewing cost saving whilst providing and ensuring excellent quality care to our service users.
