Key responsibilities: Transactional postings onto Sage Bank reconciliations Salary analysis and journal posting Managing nominal ledger journals Accruals and prepayments calculations Quarterly VAT returns Cash flow analysis Processing and analysing employee expenses Post client disbursement Raising invoices Payment entry on banking system and provide relevant paperwork to authoriser Support Financial Controller in management figures Ad hoc projects / reports An ability to work independently and within a small team is essential and to work towards tight deadlines. Experience of using Sage 50 is essential. Skills and experience: · Previous accounts experience is essential · Excellent IT skills including Advanced Excel, Outlook, Word (Previous experience of using CCH would be advantageous) · High attention to detail · Customer centric · Continually stretches and drives performance improvement Salary is £18,000pa to £23,000pa depending on experience.
