REPL Group develops and implements technical solutions in the retail space – our experience and expertise delivers visionary professional services and unique solutions that transform business operations. We’ve worked internationally with some of the biggest names and closer to home with all of the top 10 retailers across the UK. Impressive stuff but only achieved by hiring the best talent, the best teams of specialists who share our ambition to deliver the exceptional. Our products are diverse from a tool that can forecast the number of ice creams a major store will sell this summer to another which consults on the implementation of high profile mobile payment apps and digital shopping experiences. Consumer-led and ever-changing market, the retail industry demands innovative and inspiring tech solutions. The Integration team will work on a project basis, integrating our clients’ critical systems, before moving on to the next project. Design Analysts will be responsible for working with client stakeholders and experts to understand what needs to be done, capture these requirements, and work them into technical designs for the developers to work from. As this is a newly-founded team, these first vacancies will be a unique opportunity for individuals looking to make a real impact, set the standard of “what good looks like” and shape the team’s culture as we move forward. We look forward to cultivating an “internal start-up” culture. Graduates at REPL complete an 18-month development programme. Upon completion, you’ll move into Senior Consultant-rank roles, most likely as a lead developer or software architect (though lateral moves into product development or non-development roles are also a possibility.) Key Tasks Contribute expertise to the process of capturing, clarifying and managing technical requirements for integrating large IT systems. Combine IT expertise and general problem-solving skills to design IT system integration. Apply good organisational and communication skills to coordinate other teams and other companies. Ensure the interfaces are built in line with the specifications. Assist test, deployment and support teams in preparing to fulfil their own responsibilities. Do all the above for our clients, often at their own premises. Do all the above as part of mixed project teams of REPL colleagues, client and supplier staff, both business and technical. What we’re looking for Ability to understand requirements for systems integration and express them in technical designs. A degree of understanding technical topics such as markup languages, file formats, integration software, programming languages, databases or cloud computing. Programming experience would be useful but is not mandatory. Location Home base at our office in Victoria, London. Travel to and work at client sites in the UK, with some home working as appropriate.
