Gate Automation Engineer
An Excellent opportunity for a young motivated individual to train to become a Gate Automation Engineer, specialising in the installation, service and repair of residential and commercial gate automation systems for a well-established company based in Oxfordshire. The Company: They specialise in residential and commercial automation. They design, build, install and maintain electric gates, entry systems and other automation products. They pride themselves on the quality of their work and the satisfaction of their customers. The successful candidate will learn and develop the following skills: Electronic engineering - 12v and 24v circuitry and wiring. Designing and engineering of bespoke mechanical devices. Interpreting engineering documentation to put together bespoke automation solutions. Gate and automation geometry calculations. Working as part of a team to produce bespoke automation solutions. Steel fabrication, including MIG and ARC welding various metal works, including grinding, cutting and polishing. General light carpentry. Ensuring that all implementations adhere to current health and safety directive Testing of new and existing installations, including certified force testing. Installation servicing. Mechanical maintenance of automation equipment, including repairs and troubleshooting. Electrical maintenance of all cabling and additional electrical components. Devising electrical circuitry diagrams and solution Steel and wood surface weather treatment Manual labour / general civil work. Delivering a high level of customer service to all clients. Working on construction sites and client premises, both residential and commercial. Candidate requirements: Although they do not require someone with experience within the industry, they are looking to recruit someone with that has a strong analytical aptitude, high attention to detail, good communication skills, is creative and has the ability to think logically. Full UK Driving Licence is required as following training a company van and mobile phone will be provided. Working Hours: 42.5 Hours per week, Monday to Friday. In return the company is offering a competitive salary of £23,000 to £25,000 Per Annum depending on experience, with clear and structured salary increases for the successful applicant.
