Corporate Finance Executive / Analyst McGinnis Loy Associates is proud to be working with a highly regarded Corporate Finance Boutique who are now looking to recruit a CF Executive/Business Analyst to join their growing team near Manchester. The firm has a strong reputation across the UK for providing services including M&A, Corporate Advisory, MBO/MBIs to a range of SME and multi-national clients. You will be required to prepare and analyse all financial aspects of potential M&A deals including historical performances, financial forecasts, offer analysis, valuations and financial modelling. Key duties include: • Highlight areas of financial and commercial risk and advice regarding growth potential of the clients accordingly. • Work closely with Senior/Lead Advisors and support clients through any due diligence process. • Partnering with cross functional departments, providing a service which will lead to a successful sale of client businesses, or providing advice on an alternative solution. • Providing advisory financial support for Sales pitches • Leading a detailed Financial Review meeting with the client to assess the performance of their business and forecast future performance • Performing all key financial analysis from historic information, forecasts and budgets • Identifying KPI’s for client businesses and benchmarking their performance across industry norms • Evaluation of external consultants reports where available • Delivery of presentations and making recommendations • Analyse and assess the quality of management information and suitability to support execution of due diligence • Preparation of financial materials to be included in Information Memoranda and Management Presentations (Profit Plans) • Bid analysis on offers received • Ongoing support of the Deal Team and Senior/Lead Advisor for a transaction • Assist with the collation and review of financial due diligence materials • Recommendations on business initiatives/strategies to enhance growth proposition • Advise internal and external clients on any financial matters To be considered for the role you should ideally be a fully qualified ACA/ACCA Accountant (or have equivalent work experience) with experience from a Corporate M&A function, CF boutique, mid-large tier Accountancy Firm, Private Equity house or Investment Bank. You should ideally have knowledge of different valuation techniques, an in-depth knowledge of statutory accounts and the ability to analyse information including management accounts and forecasts. With an adaptable and versatile working style, you should also have strong commercial and organisational awareness and the ability to write reports and edit documents to a high standard. On offer is a salary up to £45,000 + 15% bonus with benefits to include company pension, healthcare and 23 days holidays.
