Content Designer GDS Brief Overview Triad's award winning client are looking for a GDS Content Designer to assist a large Public sector project. As a Content Designer, you will: Review, analyse and help develop high quality content for new Government digital services to encourage people to use them. Help to explore the policies and legislation that need to be enshrined in digital service content. Take complex content and processes and help make them easy to understand. Work within an agile delivery model, collaborating with the product manager, digital service manager, business analysts and user researchers to ensure that content supports. Key responsibilities: Understand existing content and provide an evidence and best-practice based view of how it can be approved. Understand the policies and legislation that underpin the service. Develop content plans and lead planning meetings with policy and communications. Working with the wider team to ensure that suitable content is produced to deliver a user-centric service. Skills & Experience: Previous experience as Content Designer in Central Government is highly beneficial (ideally for services related to compliance and regulation). Working to GDS best practice, including participating in GDS assessments. Experience of writing for the web with proven ability of creating usable content. Proven experience of using metrics and user feedback to define/refine content. Experience in choosing the best format for displaying information to the user. Proven experience with working within a web, online and digital environment. Experience working in content management and publishing systems - desirable.
