We are looking for an ambitious Community Manager Assistant who would like to take on and grow into a versatile position. With a mix of admin coordination and marketing projects, this role would be ideal for someone who enjoys keeping things organised while having a lot of room for creativity and initiative.

No experience is required – we’ll provide full training and support to the right candidate.

Job Description

The Community Manager Assistant will be the main point of contact for the IT consultants who are using our website and services. This role involves a mix of administrative support tasks and communication initiatives.

The marketing/communication side of the role needs to be developed, so there will be many opportunities for the right candidate to suggest and implement their own ideas or projects. We will provide training and support for this.

Key responsibilities:

Admin:
- To vet and welcome the new consultants who register to our website.
- To respond to queries from consultants, mostly via email.
- To keep and update admin records related to our database of consultant-members.

Communication/marketing:
- To learn to build and implement communication initiatives to increase the engagement of our existing members.
- To learn to build and implement marketing campaigns on social media in order to attract new members to join our website.
- To help constantly improve and adjust the messaging and design of our consultant-targeted web pages.
- To be involved in the creation and implementation of new services targeted at our consultant members.

Reports to: Product Director.

Work environment and hours:

This is a part-time role based in our London offices (Old Street or Victoria).

The role is currently offered on a self-employed basis, however, it is paid hourly and we are guaranteeing 20 hours of work per week. While the role is freelance, this is a long-term engagement with no end-date, which could lead to increased hours and more responsibilities in the future.

The 20 weekly hours will need to be completed during regular business hours, however, you will have a lot of flexibility for choosing the way in which your hours will be spread over the week.

Pay structure: £7.83 per hour, paid monthly.
