In terms of the role you will have a thorough understanding of the financial planning process and be used to dealing with the FOS and solicitors, have complaints experience and ideally have made progress with the Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (but they won't hold it against you if you haven't). And in terms of approach it is not about negotiating the best settlement for the company. The business in question has a history of being generous.
