Data Analytics Consultants – Manager, Associate Director and Director Starting immediately, an award winning London-based international financial and electronic forensics company is seeking three Data Analytics Consultants at Manager, Associate Director and Director level. They are looking for individuals with strong analytics skills and demonstrated experience in staging and analyzing structured datasets, especially transactional data from financial systems. Candidates should possess strong skills in SQL, especially in a Microsoft SQL Server environment, and ideally have a working understanding of accounting systems and principles. Highly desirable is an understanding of various ERP systems typically found in mid-level to global sized environments, and familiarity with visualization tools (Tableau, Spotfire) is a plus. The candidate should also be highly proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel and Access. Successful individuals in this field are diligent, self-motivated, possess strong communication and analytical skills, form good client relationships, and enjoy a wide variety of work experiences and challenges. Responsibilities: Lead and manage teams to perform complete analysis of accounting, finance, economic issues in the context of business transactions; provide recommendations where applicable Identify and extract data in a forensically sound manner, often in support of compliance assessments and investigations Perform data integrity and completeness exercises prior to executing analytics Perform analysis of accounting, finance, and various other types of records to identify patterns or transactions that present red-flag characteristics utilizing SQL Collaborate with the forensic accounting team to ensure relevant data sets are identified and collected, design tailored data queries to support the forensic accounting team’s objectives, prepare and provide results of analyses in effective and user-friendly formats, and problem-solve together where unusual datasets create challenges Initiate and develop relationships with working level of client team Liaise with client counterparts in finance and IT functions Documentation and report writing as needed, operating under a standardized reporting framework Demonstrate an understanding of risks associated with various engagements Support the firm in its business development and marketing activities Balance multiple projects and responsibilities Required Qualifications and Skills Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Statistics, Computer Sciences, Accounting or other relevant field Demonstrated experience in business and strategic planning, managing client relationships Professional demeanour and strong communication skills, both written and oral; possessing a high level customer service approach Ability to create and deliver client service work that exceeds client expectations Ability to lead small teams, create and deliver work product that exceeds client expectations Ability to work independently and take ownership of specific assignments Must be a team player and have a strong work ethic, integrity, and attention to detail Highly motivated, proactive, able to work independently and as part of a team with a substantially high degree of initiative and drive Proficiency with SQL Server, as well as Microsoft Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint required Strong analytical abilities Ability to work to deadline on concurrent projects Valid passport and availability for both domestic and international travel (approx. 50%), with some travel on short notice Based in the City of London (EC1N) Competitive Package
