THE ROLE Due to continued success and increased business wins there is now an exciting opportunity for an Account Team Manager to come on board and help drive the business forward. A broad role you will be responsible for managing a team and a portfolio of accounts, as well as taking the lead of larger, more complex events. Responsibilities include: * Account management including building and developing relationships* Working closely with Account Managers and Account Directors* Line management and development of a team* Resource management* Creating proposals and pitching to clients* Ensuring process, SLA's and efficiencies across the team* Overseeing delivery including taking the lead on larger events (including full logistics)* Briefing and liaising with production department and AV companies* Supplier management and negotiation* Budget management including forecasting* Onsite management THE CANDIDATE Candidates must have a solid event delivery background, ideally gained form working within an agency environment. Candidates must be experienced with managing all elements of an event from initial proposal creation through to financial reconciliation, including managing all logistics. Experience of managing accounts and / or developing relationships is key and any exposure to managing an developing a team would also be highly advantageous. Candidates must be open to both UK and international travel as you will be required to go onsite for the events.
