This is your chance to join a tech startup in high growth mode. We are looking for an experienced leader with a background in marketing to drive our business forward. As a senior member of the team, you will play a significant role in the development of Work for Good.

* Our online platform enables businesses to build giving into their day to day work, for the good of both business and charities.

*Prime Function:*
* Lead and direct the strategic and operational delivery of the business, and drive marketing opportunities:
Deliver the strategic implementation of the business, and manage the day-to-day activities, ensuring they run smoothly and that consistently high standards are delivered to customers.
Lead development of marketing strategy and ensure effective implementation of activity through team and external marketing partners.

*Specifically:*
* Drive the business as a leader, providing strategic direction and ensuring the business remains focused on achieving its objectives.
* Manage the business on a day-to-day basis, setting clear objectives and targets, ensuring priorities are understood and accountability is taken for delivery. Ensure high professional standards are maintained throughout the business.
* Full P&L responsibility across budget lines.
* Full HR and governance responsibility across the team, including performance, weekly 121s.
* Maintain a strong team culture by ensuring that strategic objectives are clearly communicated and individual contributions are acknowledged.
* Manage the strategic planning/budgeting process and monthly reporting of performance to Co-founders against agreed strategic objectives.
* Ensure Work for Good has the right marketing strategy in place to build their brand and achieve a step change in business sign ups and use of the platform. Drive effective implementation of marketing activity through the team and with external marketing partners. Ensure a rigorous focus on results.
* Work with the Sales and Community Engagement team to build and ensure delivery of a consistent sales strategy, with detailed implementation, metrics, objectives and closely aligned delivery.
* Manage the development and strategic direction of the website as key member engagement and acquisition tool, working with the Product Manager to prioritise functionality to drive income.
* Support the Head of Charity Partnerships in developing charity referrals and engagement.
* Work with Head of Partnerships to develop partnerships and alliances with companies that will enhance the growth of the business.

*Requirements:*
* Experienced team and strategic leader; must have demonstrable track record in leading from the front.
* Experienced background as a Marketing Director; able to lead teams to deliver effective marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including digital, and inspire excellent creative work.
* Visionary outlook; able to balance the day-to-day with building a long term strategy for growth.
* Ambitious, driven and flexible self-starter who relishes start-up environment.
* Highly organised, time focused and disciplined, able to create structure and focus in an environment of high intensity and multiple demands.
* Innovative and commercially savvy, adept at creative solution building and working with limited funds.
* Excellent presentation and communication skills; able to articulate the value proposition with ease to multiple different audiences.
* Strong network of SMEs - highly desirable.
* Strong network of high net worth / investors - highly desirable.

*Location Contract and Compensation:*
* Private office within WeWork South Bank Central (10mins walk from Waterloo and Blackfriars): https://www.wework.com/buildings/south-bank-central--london
* At inception this role will likely be 4 days a week in the office with 1 day a week flexible working.
* We are seeking a person who will help us grow and establish Work For Good, bringing their expertise from a successful established career, but who is now looking to make a difference. As such, this is an equity-only role for now, with the intention to move to a salaried post at the next round of successful funding (6mths).
