2 GIS/Geospatial Hydrographic Data Processors Brief Overview Our Bristol based client is currently looking to recruit 2 GIS/Geospatial Hydrographic Data Processors for a contact role. You will be assisting project coordinators to manage, process and QA of geospatial marine or hydrographic data. The role will involve working with a mix of satellite imagery, remote sensing and GIS data. The role is likely to be for around 6 months and could be a great opportunity for a graduate, or someone who has some commercial experience and looking for that next step. The perfect candidate will have some experience of working with satellite imagery, GIS, large volumes of data. The data my client is working with in this project is Hydrographic/Marine data. Responsibilities: Responsible for performing marine geospatial data quality control through the use of Satellite Imagery, Remote Sensing data and GIS; Supporting the Project Team and Hydrographic Consultant in instigating Quality Control and Quality Assurance data work flows; Supporting the Project Coordinator in providing feedback to production teams and sub-contractors; Responsible for production of ENCs (Electronic Navigation Charts) to a suitable standard, including development and implementation of ENC production work flows; Assistance with hydrographic survey data production when the need arises; Responsible for initial satellite imagery assessment in close coordination with the Project Coordinator and sub-consultants.
