1st /2nd line Support Analyst
IT Remote Support – (MS Server, Network Monitoring, Back-ups etc) £20-£25k plus shift allowance – based North Manchester. One of the North West’s leading IT Solutions providers who has consistently achieved Microsoft Gold Partner status is experiencing tremendous growth in their Managed Services division and is looking to recruit an IT Support Analyst to join a team providing remote support to clients working on a shift rota of 4 days on and 4 off*. SKILLS 12 months+ experience of Support, System Administration or Managed Service. Ideally some knowledge/experience of the following technologies: Windows Server 2008 - 2016, Linux Backup technologies ( ideally Symantec, Veeam, DPM, Dell AppAssure etc) Networking and Firewall fundamentals Network Performance Tools (Solarwinds , PRTG), RMM tools Other skills of interest include: Patching, Virtualisation (VMware, Hyper-V), Azure, 365, WSUS, Anti-Virus, etc THE ROLE - In a team environment the IT Support Analyst will provide proactive monitoring and management of managed service systems inc network and firewall management, back-ups, troubleshooting and pro-actively resolving issues through their leading edge Active System Monitoring technology. You will be expected to identify generic trends looking at performance issues and providing resolutions. Confident, with excellent troubleshooting and system administration skills you will offer a high level of customer service, possessing first rate communication skills. *This will involve working to a shift pattern 4 days on and 4 off covering a time zone between 6am – 11pm.
