Job Description - Quality, Health, Safety and Environment Manager A Quality, Health, Safety and Environment Manager is needed at a leading plastic injection moulding manufacturer based in North Derbyshire. With a turnover of over £7 million and over 125 employees, this is an exciting opportunity for a proactive Quality, Health, Safety and Environment professional. Purpose Reporting into the Operations Director, the QHSE Manager is required to facilitate and report all CI activities focusing on waste, product quality and HSE issues. Additionally, the role will authorise all processes and procedures, ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality are met. The perfect candidate is to be passionate about driving change and be focused on making continuous improvements. Duties and responsibilities will include: - To be responsible for Health and Safety to ensure legal compliance and to report non-conformance's to the Board - To lead changes within the Production team, reducing the cost of quality, minimising waste and eradicating repeat concerns - To undertake projects to drive costs reductions and productivity - To be responsible for all Quality and Environmental systems and procedures - To develop and sustain systems to measure performance against established standards which relate to products and processes with the outlook to take or recommend action to improve performance when appropriate - To ensure customers requirements are met in relation to the Quality functions - To undertake tasks and activities as required by senior management The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate the following skills and experiences: - Compliant in ISO 9001/14001 - A great level of commitment and self-motivation - A proactive approach throughout all aspects of the role - Experience in the implementation of Continuous Improvements projects - The capacity to work unsupervised and independently - Exceptional communication and persuasion skills - Experience in the process of new product introduction - NEBOSH qualified This is an exciting opportunity for a positive, self-motivated QHSE Manager to join a reputable, innovative business.
