Duncan Lewis was established in 1998 and employs in excess of 700 staff and consultants across London and the UK. We are seeking a Administrative Assistant with good administrative skills to be the first point of contact for our clients and help provide administrative support to our fee earners. The successful candidates must have excellent organisation, communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work well in a fast paced and busy office environment. You will be hands on, committed and able to work as part of a team whilst using your own initiative to get tasks done. The main activities of this role will include: Assisting departmental head with costing tasks daily. Processing of Legal Help files Assisting the Costdrafting team with daily billing tasks. Processing of Claim 1s and submitting to LSC. Processing of bills. Preparing EX80 A [final costs certificate] Dealing with Inter-parte bills. Assisting with Claim 4s (payment on account) as and when requested by department head or other Directors. Preparing bill delivery sheets in : Crown Court Files, CDS 6 criminal files Assisting with identifying files that can be billed regularly. Assisting with discharging of Invoices, when payment has been received, under supervision. Assisting with providing cover for the Receptionist role and other Admin Assistants employed by the firm. General departmental duties. Other reasonable tasks required by management.
