LOCATION: Castleton, Derbyshire JOB TITLE: Finance Manager SALARY & BENEFITS: £40,000 pro-rata and includes basic pension pro-rata and 25 days plus bank holidays pro-rata. WORKING HOURS: Part time (2.5 days per week) THE Trust :Lindley Educational Trust is a registered charity and a private company limited by guarantee. It was established in 1965 and delivers personal development activity to 12,000 children and young people every year. The Trust has a Christian foundation and seeks to use it resources to benefit all children and young people, with a focus on reaching vulnerable and disadvantaged. The outcomes for its beneficiaries include increased self- awareness & self-belief, improved physical & mental health, enhanced employability and raised aspirations. THE ROLE: Due to retirement within the trust there is now an opening for a Finance Manager to join on a part time basis. The Finance Manager is part of the senior management team reporting to the part-time Chief Executive. It involves working closely with the Head of Centres, the Trust’s operational lead and participation in Trustee Board meetings three times a year. The role is supported by a small administration team including basic book-keeping. The role is 2.5 day per week, these days can be negotiated at interview stage. THE CANDIDATE:The successful candidate for the Finance Manager role based In Caslteton, Derbyshire will be experienced in book-keeping and management account preparation. You will also have experience in the preparation and submission of ltd company annual accounts as well as supervisory and management experience. Qualifications in finance / accounting would be an advantage.
