Job Title: Commercial/Residential Solicitor Location: London Salary: £45,000 - £65,000 Job Reference: MK/20921 About the Company: My client is a leading regional law firm who is a true market leader within the Commercial Property field. Due to a period of expansion and increased demand the client is looking for a Commercial Property Solicitor. The role will involve acting for landowners, occupiers, developers, funders, contractors and professionals in connection with a mixture of residential development, commercial development, investment, secured lending and tenant and corporate support work. Job Description: Handling various range of development commercial projects including acquisitions and disposals, portfolio purchases, lettings and development projects, auction purchases. Investigating the title, carrying out searches, preparing on title reports. Drafting contracts of sale, commercial leases, rent deposit deeds, sale of business agreements, complex restriction clauses. Dealing with registration formalities. Providing training and seminars on property law for the firm’s junior staff members. Caseload comprising 40% residential and 60% commercial matters. Secured lending, bridging finance, re-financing, commercial & residential development, Landlord & tenant work. Acquisitions & disposals. Key Skills/Experience Required: Qualified commercial property solicitor. Extensive knowledge around Commercial/Residential property. You will be a solicitor with a minimum of 4/5 years' post qualification experience. Technically proficient and commercially aware. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Demonstrable client care skills, able to build up relationships. It is essential that you are self-motivated and ambitious with a real drive to succeed.
