Due to growth of this investment Management business, we have a new opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join the team, supporting the two existing Accounts Assistants. The Accounts Assistant will work across the sales leger, purchase ledger and banking functions playing an important and active part in supporting the property management and finance teams. In this instance, the ideal individual will be bright and adaptable with a can do attitude. They can either be a Finance & Accountancy Graduate (with 2:1 or higher) or have about 12 months continuous experience in a similar role. This role will require close working with the existing Finance team of six. The Accounts Assistant and will need to be well organised, a confident communicator and take pride in the quality of their work. Responsibilities: Sales Ledger •Preparation of revenue reports for approval by stakeholders •Raising sales invoices as required •Credit control •Customer account liaison Purchase Ledger •Assistance with purchase invoice administration •Logging, coding and posting purchase invoices •Administration of invoice approval process •Preparation of payment runs Banking Administration •Banking of cheques and posting direct bank receipt transactions •Posting payments in purchase and bank ledgers •Monitoring bank balances and administering transfers •Maintaining bank reconciliations Qualifications: •Degree educated (with a 2:1 or higher from a Russel Group University) •Want to or already be studying towards Accounting Qualification (ACCA or CIMA) •Attention to detail, particularly with numeracy •Strong verbal and written communication •Good IT skills, including experience of Excel •Team player, willing to work together to achieve goals efficiently and accurately This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to establish themselves in a successful and growing environment.
