Site Supervisor - Electrical Vehicle Charging Location: Oxford Salary: Competitive plus car and fuel card Due to our continued growth, eSmart Networks have an exciting opportunity for a Site Supervisor to join the delivery team. Responsible for the day to day activities on site for the delivery of multiple projects within your dedicated region, whilst ensuring highest level of Health and Safety, accurate and up to date record keeping and the coordination and monitoring of construction activities for eSmart Networks projects this is an opportunity to join an evolving, forward thinking and dynamic company, where you can make a difference. The position; • Ensuring all new eSmart Networks projects, whether EV installations or others, are built in line with safety & clients standard. • Ensuring that all projects are effectively managed to time, cost and quality. • Create relevant Task Instructions for on-site teams. • Consistently review the live schedule and visit sites to ensure weeks planned in can be completed. • Conduct site audits, encouraging the reporting of near misses and hazards. • Work closely with the HSQE department for continuous awareness and improvement for on-site Health and Safety and ensure safe working practices are in place. • Work closely with the planning team ensuring works completed to schedule. • Liaise with senior and local representatives of third party organisations eg Site owners, Highway Agencies and others as required. • Undertake surveys and customer inspections to enable accurate designs and quotations to be produced. • Management and audit of on-site teams, both direct and sub-contractors, to ensure daily targets are met and ensure daily updates are reported back, including site photos. • Ensure all completion paperwork is submitted on time and to a high standard. • Display the values of the business in all aspects of their actions & behaviour, and that they aspire to create the right culture. Candidate Experience, Skills and Attributes; • Strong proven background within an operational position ideally within the utilities sector. • Ability to work as part of a highly focused team to meet deadlines and to work with others to achieve shared goals. • Skilled in the successful management, supervision and delivery of multiple projects, ideally utilities. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain compelling relationships. • NRSWA, SMSTS and CSCS cards/certification. • Knowledge of DNO and an IDNO utilities sector technologies and techniques would be an advantage. • Working knowledge of current Legislation, Technical Standards & Specifications, Codes of Practice and Recommendations relating to Electricity & Civilis work. • Knowledge of Customer Service and impact on business performance. • Awareness of continuous improvement within existing and new processes.
