Graduate Electronics Design Engineer
A fantastic opportunity to join a reputable company and build an in-house electronics team in an expanding company The Company Our client is a well-established business that designs and manufactures of high precision actuation systems with global customers in aerospace, defence and oil and gas industries. The opportunity The client has developed a new generation of products that takes them from a base of gears and mechanical actuation systems into integrated systems. These are going through final qualification and will be fully certified, allowing them to sell into other aerospace markets worldwide. Their aim is to initiate an electronics department who will work closely with the design team on every new job, so that in the future they can be self-reliant in providing a full actuator package without the need to outsource electronics and motor design. The chosen candidate will have the opportunity to start off this process, gain knowledge from their very experienced electronics designer and may have the opportunity to build an electronics team around them as the work load increases. The Candidate The successful candidate will have a degree in electronics or robotics and be comfortable with high accuracy closed loop control systems using sensors and mechanics. You will have expertise in LabView and some programming experience (C++). This may be your first job. You will have a positive attitude, be ready & willing to learn and to share your knowledge. The client has agreed with a vastly experienced electronics designer that he will mentor and assist you. This designer is responsible for the latest generation of PCB design and control software for one of their most recent products and wants to pass on some of his 50+ years of experience.
