£25,000 to £30,000 basic salary – Excellent benefits
Liverpool – 33 days holiday and Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm – No weekends.

The role & responsibilities:

Reporting to the production manager the Workshop Technician is responsible for the assembly and test of company products and some mechanical products for the wider group

* Oil Dispersant Spray Systems

* Portable Diesel powered Marine

* Installed Electric powered

* Aerial Systems

* Rail Depot Safety Systems

* Electrical Control Cabinets

* Design Prototypes

* Mechanical Drain Closure Devices

* Maintenance and Overhaul of Hire Equipment (Peristaltic Pumps)

* Maintaining Factory Machinery

* Maintaining & Developing workshop best practices

* Ensuring ISO9001 Quality procedures are followed

* Assisting design department with product reviews

* Assisting design department with build and test of prototype equipment

* Goods in, Inspection & Booking in

The Candidate requirements:

* Commutable to Liverpool daily

* Any exposure to pumps or engines would be an advantage

* Time served mechanical engineer or with qualifications is equally acceptable

* Good communicator – organised

* Able to work alone with common sense and pride to a high standard

* Experience assembling and testing mechanical systems


* Negotiable basic salary up to £30,000
